Ecodyed watercolor paper (using a heat press) is a labor of love and surprise for me as each time the results are different even if I’ve used the same process! This 10x 6 inch ecodyed zippered pouch is made from the original 12 x 12 piece of watercolor paper using moisture and mordants and maple leaves. The cotton canvas fabric used in the pouch is made from digital photos of the original prepared for reproduction. This fabric then becomes the exterior of the pouch and then a contrasting cotton fabric (not ecodyed) is used as a lining.
I sew the bags myself often accompanied by some creative swearwords but the results are a bit of botanical art in a regular day. They are a perfect size for coins, sewing and quilting “stuff”, credit cards, pencils and pens, notebooks, etc.
It takes 2-3 days to be shipped out to you once the order has been placed.
