I deliberately bought something I usually don’t

I deliberately bought something I usually don’t cook because it takes a bit longer than other things: a spaghetti squash. I bought kale. Both of these things were available unlike Mac and cheese and toilet paper! I roasted some garbanzo beans as well as the squash seeds that I dug out of the cooked squash added some pine nuts or sunflower seeds and now by the looks of it I have enough to last me a week. Making something different and delicious that I can heat up makes me less likely to snack. Tip# 1 on how I plan to avoid baking my way through the pandemic. #artofthediet #pandemic #foodmanagement #weightwatchers #weightmanagement

The CDC recommends social distancing, a term I was unfamiliar with but actually do a little too naturally these days. I am turning my “Art of the Diet” portfolio into aprons, linens, tablecloths, napkins all without needing to shake one hand. The problem might come in inviting folks over to see my fabric samples! My green figs are featured here. I initially lost weight by trying to photograph fruits and vegetables into something beautiful AND then eat them! It worked! Still does.
