3. Gorgeous picture. It looks like a picture that should go with a poem by Emily Dickinson or someone similar :D

4. Tremendous depth of field for one photo. Same principles apply in painting- where you’d want the detail in the foreground and larger, more vague strokes in the background.
   You’re an artist through the lens.

   1. Bonnie, these things do the painting, I just have to bend down! Creaking sound, do you hear it?

   1. Arynsmom, I’m laughing cuz I was having trouble picture Brain climbing a tree, too! The high heat these past few days have just about exhausted the spring blooms!

6. Pat – I can smell them! I can! Beautiful shot from the worm’s eye view. Even though I don’t really warm to purple, I must say I love it in nature because its strength is so arresting.

   1. Epic! You must have a really, really good sense of smell (like all good cooks) because even when I’m inches away from these flowers, I can’t smell a thing!

   1. Chris, They are one of my favorite spring flowers because they last so long. Although this past few days of high heat has taken its toll! I don’t think they’ll be anymore muscari photos till next spring.
